A major renovation of one of the countries most unique landmarks offered us an opportunity to work with builders and stakeholders to find a way get a platform fixed to the bottom of Seattle's Space Needle while respecting the public's access to the structure.
Our team working alongside the stakeholders developed a plan that allowed us to install custom clamps to raise and support the platform during renovation.
SPEEDY REPAIR
With a major event quickly approaching, traditional access just wasn't an option for this quick repair. Removal of some heavy audio equipment created a need for a cosmetic repair to this speedway stadium wall. Before the TV cameras could roll and the race fans streamed in, our crew developed a rope access system allowing for the removal of hardware, some patchwork, and quick touch-up. Airde was in and out safely in less time it would take to build traditional access .
